Wage and benefit growth in Minneapolis-St. Paul was the second highest in the nation last year. The increase is 60 basis points greater than the national average and 50 basis points greater than Minneapolis-St. Paul’s 2014-2015 growth rate. The compensation increase aligns with the market’s fourth lowest unemployment rate, where y-o-y job growth is attributed to record breaking employment among professional and business services.
